Adrian Ashurst has worked as a qualified nurse and manager for over 35 years within the National Health Service and the Independent care sector. Currently Adrian is an independent care management consultant working with a leading provider of intensive psychiatric rehabilitation.
Having worked as an Operations manager for a number of leading care providers he is well placed to comment and provide readers with advice and guidance based upon his vast clinical and managerial experience. Adrian has written extensively for NRC and he is an author with three successful books currently in print. Adrian is responsible for supporting the NRC Editor in developing the journal to meet the needs of carers and managers working in care today. Adrian said, "NRC remains a very special journal as it captures the true essence of nursing and care, it's easy to read and provides everyone with a variety of up to date knowledge base and relevant information. NRC is written by a team of people that are passionate about care."
Liz Rasmussen initially studied at university in Wales and received a BSc with honours in genetics at the University of Wales, Swansea in 2004. She then went on to receive a post-graduate certificate in rehabilitation science at the University of Brighton in 2010. She brings to the role both her previous publishing experience and experience of working healthcare environments.
